Explanation...
I really didn’t have anything going on in dance recently. That is, until Monday :)
First off, I was promoted to Jazz 3! It was a great class and they allowed me to move in. Second, this saturday I’m going to an AUDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the lead roles in this years performance, the Wizard of Oz!

Modern Class Tips and iPod App!
I had modern class today for an hour, and all that winter break made me weak! We did hardcore crunches, and my abs are in pain! Then some improv, prancing, etc. And now I have my tip for the day, today featuring modern!

Oh! I forgot!
I’d like to say that I got a James Avery charm and bracelet, and the charm is a pair of pointe shoes. I’m going to keep this charm as my goal : moving up to pointe and to ballet four this year. This charm will keep reminding me what I’m working so hard for, and how much I badly want it.

I got a kindle fire, but me and my brother decided to switch so he gave me his iPod touch for the Kindle fire c: I really wanted an iPod touch, plus I don’t like reading on electronic devices. Reading is the best when you flip through it’s pages of paper.

With territory comes rules for certain people. Especially ballet teachers.

At The Barre Series

and i bought this thing called a “bun maker” and it’s this donut like thing and you put your ponytail through it, put all your around it, then wrap it in a bun and ta-da ! you got yourself a beaut of a bun. hopefully it actually works.

i love to pointe. why? because i know i have one of the best pointe in my class. not being cocky. i just love knowing that i’m doing at least one thing right.
i wish we could wear different colored leotards in class. i’d wear either a lovely maroon long sleeved leotard or a navy strapped leotard with a dip in the back. i’d feel so elegant.

Sorry guise!
I haven’t made a post dance-related in FEREVERRR! So here it is! c;
i had modern wednesday, but i had missed it because i had a band concert performance, and if i had missed it, my director would have gone all caps rage on me ;b then i had ballet on thursday and we started Waltz of the Flowers! it was so much fun! and it was just so relaxing to be doing turns.

i read this quote about dancers. i dont remember it word for word, but it was completely right. dancers are different from regular people. their is something unnatural about us that makes us swift and beautiful. our posture is great. our presence is different. our language sets us as different.
there are humans, and then there are dancers.
